Slurryseal
is a waterproofing used on flat concrete roofs or balconies with falls and can be used for lining and tanking. Tiles can be laid directly on to Slurryseal.
Technical Data
Application
Apply the Slurryseal using a block brush, allowing 2 hours between coats. Mix quantities as required. Slurryseal can be used in conjunction with Ecofelt membrane. Slurryseal is extremely difficult to remove once it has set. Apply Slurryseal to required thickness – 3 coats.
Coverage
Coverage of 1 to 2 square meter per litre.
Drying time
2 hours between coats
Mix
1 Litre Slurryseal to 1 part water to 3 parts cement. Use SABS grade cement only (42.5).
Economics
Creates waterproof decking systems in conjunction with Ecofelt. The Slurryseal System is maintenance free. Tiles can be laid directly onto the Slurryseal.
B101 Seal Gard
is a permanent water proofer / plaster primer. It penetrates 5 to 8mm on raw plaster work and 2 to 3mm on previously painted surfaces.
Technical Data
Application
Plaster should cure for at least 3 days prior to the application of B101. “In situ” application by low pressure spray (back pack), to saturation and run off. Wipe down glass and window frames immediately after application. Wash hands and equipment with soapy water after using B101.
Drying time
1 hour
Economics
Primer paint may be dispensed with. Paint yield per square meter is greater using B101. Bagging and bitumising may be dispensed with. Creates waterproof single skin walling systems.
Approval
B101 has been tested by the SABS. Test results show conclusively that the product meets the requirement of the rain penetration test SABS 0400(K17.1). A test by Draper Penhall & Associates concluded that B101 waterproofing provides an excellent barrier against water absorption. This product has been successfully used over the past ten years.
Warranty
The product carries a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Daragard Mould Release Oil
OB Diesel Emulsion Based chemical release agent – economical high quality concrete finish – clean and quick release
Technical Data
Application
To be applied by very fine spray, cloth, brush or roller. Daragard is ready to use and should not be diluted. It should be applied as thinly and evenly as possible. Any excess agent should be removed.
Preparation
Formwork surfaces to be treated should be clean, smooth and free of all cement.
Effects
Daragard gives easy release of any type of formwork and provides a high quality surface finish.

Daragard is a low viscosity mould release agent based
on a blend of highly refined oils.
Seal Bond
is a permanent water proofer / plaster primer. It penetrates 5 to 8mm on raw plaster work and 2 to 3mm on previously painted surfaces.
Technical Data
Application
Seal Bond is a high quality and durable waterproofing liquid that can be used in different applications to enhance the water proofing and binding properties of water based and acrylic paints. It can also be added to tile adhesives and tile grout to improve the binding of ceramic, slate-and natural stone tiles, to create a barrier against water penetration or rising damp. Seal-Bond can be added to plaster and topping mix, to enhance its binding and waterproofing properties. Seal Bond will also stabilise and seal friable and chalking surfaces when applied with a roller as key coat before painting.
